Coreshell is working on a new way to improve lithium-ion batteries using a proprietary nanolayer coating. The tech is designed to boost battery capacity and thermal stabilityβwithout overhauling existing manufacturing processes. It could have major implications for electric vehicles and consumer electronics alike.
Coreshell recently raised $12M in a Series A led by Trousdale Ventures, Industry Ventures, and Helios Capital. The company has also partnered with BASF to advance cathode materials and is working with Meyers Manx on EV applications.
