Northrop Grumman‘s UK division has formed a strategic partnership with Space Forge, a British startup pioneering semiconductor manufacturing in orbit.

Under this partnership—announced at the DSEI conference—Northrop will provide Space Forge with technical expertise and business guidance as they develop their ForgeStar vehicle. The ForgeStar will stay in space for several months to produce materials that benefit from the zero-gravity environment in orbit before returning them to Earth.

This collaboration represents a major advancement for manufacturing in space that will drive innovation across defense and commercial sectors.
