Engineers works on satellite communications hardware

CesiumAstro has been awarded a NASA contract to design a phased array terminal that would improve communications between low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellites and commercial or government networks.

The project is part of NASA’s effort to expand its Near Space Network by incorporating next-generation commercial technologies. CesiumAstro will work to provide new solutions for integrating wideband active phased array terminals into NASA’s existing systems, contributing to the agency’s vision of an interoperable space communications architecture.

This is an exciting step towards CesiumAstroβ€˜s mission of transforming space-based communications.
