Sway, a California-based startup creating seaweed-based packaging, has been named to TIME’s 2025 Best Inventions List for its home-compostable materials. Already working with leading brands and major packaging partners, the company has sourced over 2.7 million pounds of seaweed and is making measurable progress toward regenerative, planet-friendly packaging.
